We collect the minimum data needed to provide the service:

• Account data: Username and bcrypt-hashed password.
• Uploaded files: Image and video files along with basic metadata (upload date, file size, MIME type).
• Technical data: SHA-256 hashed IP addresses, used exclusively for rate-limiting and abuse prevention. Raw IP addresses are never stored.
• Session data: Browser user agent and login timestamp for each active session (last 10 sessions retained).

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide file hosting and manage file lifecycles.
• To prevent abuse via rate limiting.
• To enforce bans on malicious users using hashed IP identifiers.
• To display your session history in your account dashboard.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer any user data to third parties. No analytics platforms, advertising networks, or data brokers have access to any user information.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

• Files: Deleted automatically on the 1st of every third month.
• Session history: The last 10 login sessions are retained.
• Account deletion: Use the "Delete Account" option in Account Settings to permanently remove all data immediately.

5. Cookies

We use secure, HTTP-only session cookies to maintain your login state. These are strictly necessary for the operation of the service and cannot be disabled while logged in.
